The Joy of Architecture invites the participants of the event to explore how the work of architects improves our lives. This broad theme implies the value that architecture brings to society but also the burden of responsability that the profession carries.
The FCAA Biennale is the only regional event that brings together architects from the English, Spanish, French and Dutch Caribbean. The combination of the gathering of individuals and the scope of events provides a unique opportunity to establish the state of practice of Caribbean architecture - with insight into its social, cultural, economic and environmental contexts.
